Next First Aid event was held
AzRCS impilements humanitarian projects in different areas. Particularly, Society pays great attention to the awareneess in medical shpere. Such kind of projects are frequently organised in educational centers for awareness of teenagers and children. The event was held in Kalbajar school № 126 in Masazir settlement of Absheron district where refugees and iIDPs get education on the 24th of January. “Migration” and “Health and care” departments of Azerbaijan Red Crescent hold such events together. The aim of the event was training of first aid skills. Tking into consideration, that unforeseen actions are faced in the life frequently and in such situtations the first aid to the injured person is very important. Helping not in time, makes risks of unjured person’s life or caused with his late rehabilitation of his health.
Opening the event, Mammad Katanov, head of “ Migration “ department of AzRCS welcomed all the participants on behalf of Novruz Aslanov, president of AZRCS and deputy of
Parliament and gave expanded information about the activity of AzRCS. Shahin Bilenderli, head of First Aid sector held a short training for pupils. During the training, detailed information about fist aid during the injury, bleeding, burn and poisoning were given to the participants. Visual First Aid skills were trained as well as theoratical information. Puplils asked a lot of questions which they interested in and they got answers to their questions.
The teachers participating in the event, remarked the importance of such trainings and wished this kind of events to be held in future too. Salman Sultanov, director of the school thanked Novruz Aslanov, deputy of Parliament and president of AzRCS on behalf all staff, pupils and himself.
50 people from staff and pupils participated in the event. At the end of the event hygienic sets were given to the participants.
