YOUTH CENTERS 2008

On behalf of the leadership of Az.RCS the deputy chairman of the Youth Committee Bayram Veliyev congratulated all volunteers on the occasion of 5 December – the International Volunteers Day. He also conveyed warm greetings of the President of the Az.RCS, member of National Parliament Dr. Novruz Aslanov to all participants of the event. “ I believe that the established Youth Centers will cause certain positive changes in the activities of the young people involved in local branches of the Az.RCS and will increase their interrest to humanitarian activities of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society “ – Bayram Veliyev added. He also expressed his thanks to all those who worked at establishment of the Youth Centers.

Other speakers also congratulated all district young people on the occasion of an establishment of Youth Centers. They expressed their thanks to the President of the Az.RCS Dr. Novruz Aslanov and the leadership of the Azerbaijan Delegation of the ICRC for creating such a good condition for the young people and volunteers of the Az.RCS.

It should be mentioned that in 2006 such Youth Centers were opened in Barda and Fizuli regions due to the project of the Youth Comiitee of the Az.RCS and financial support of the ICRC.    

The Youth Committee of the Az.RCS expresses its gratitude to the ICRC for finance support provided and the leadership of the Az.RCS for technical assistance provided as well as to local authorities of Agdam, Agjabedi, Ter-ter regions.
