THE NEXT CHARITY ACTION WAS CARRIED OUT

Working at all times for the welfare of the people in the humanitarian field and guided by the principles of humanism and charity the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society as the National Society has been carrying out different events. Visiting elderly alone ill people and proving care and assistance to them has an importance place among the events carried out by the National Society.

On 16 July, the leadership of “the Health and Care” department of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society together with a chairwoman of Sabunchu local branch of the AzRC Elmira Melikova and a chairman of Nesimi local branch of the AzRC Meftun Guluzade visited the patients in the Republican Mental Hospital № 1 in Mashtaga settlement of Sabunchu district. “ Gizil Aypara” instrumental ensemble attached to the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society performed a concert program there. Accompanied by the instrumental ensemble the singers song Azerbaijan popular songs and mugams. The patients and medical personnel of the hospital enjoyed these songs and danced together. Some 100 patients and medical staff of the hospital participated at the event. This event was carried out thanks to high level organizational support of a chief doctor of the hospital Agahasan Rasulov.

At the end of the event the medical personnel of the hospital participating at the event thanked the staff of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society for the visit to the patients and for organizing such a nice concert program. The medical personnel of the hospital also emphasized especially that the patients receiving a treatment here have a great necessity for such kind of meetings. Taking this necessity into account the representatives of the AzRC promised to organize often such kind of events in the future.
